Non-Faculty Positions
These are nonacademic staff and support positions and include union positions (SEIU and AFSCME). Some non-union positions are funded through grants received for a specific program and are subject to expiration.
- Full-Time: Regularly scheduled to work the College's full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (40 hours per week for some AFSCME positions). Full-time positions are grouped into categories of administrator, professional or support staff.
- Part-Time: Authorized to work up to a maximum average of 20 hours per week, not to exceed 1,040 hours in a fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).
- Temporary Assignment: Employment for a defined period typically associated with a grant, specific project or the startup of a new program. A full-time temporary employee can work for the College in the same job title for a maximum of three years.
- Seasonal/Casual: Part-time employees who work on a seasonal or casual schedule, such as during peak registration periods.
